Colin Nishitani

Colin Nishitani has been with Peterson & Associates for 8 years. He joined the firm after graduating from the University of Oregon with his Master of Accounting in 2013. He has developed his practice with a mix of individuals, local business, and their owners. His clients appreciate his ability to guide them through the complex planning and compliance requirements surrounding income tax and small business ownership.

In addition to his work as a CPA, Colin co-founded Nishimoto Imports, LLC. They are a car dealership that specializes in importing and selling right-hand drive cars from Japan. He has experienced first-hand the challenging and rewarding experience of running a small business.

A Pacific Northwest native, Colin enjoys being a part of a close-knit community. He has served on the Planned Giving Advisory Council since its inception in 2018. His favorite time of year is summer, and is often hiking the trails of Mt. Hood with his 2 chocolate labs or exploring the Olympic Peninsula with his wife & daughter.
